Quick answers

The timer disappeared. Click the Desk Turtle icon in the Dock to bring back the main window while a focus session is running. The floating timer sits at the bottom-right by default and can be dragged.
The reset appeared on the wrong screen. It opens on the display your mouse is on when focus ends.
I need to leave a reset. Press Esc or choose End reset, then confirm. On the Focus complete screen, choose Not now.
The glass looks solid. Reduce Transparency is on in System Settings, Accessibility, Display. Turn it off to see your work blurred behind the glass.
Animations feel too busy. Turn on Reduce Motion in System Settings and the animations simplify.
